Non-Fiberglass External Filter
Externally installed filter casings exposed to UV light are usually reinforced with fiberglass, which can deteriorate. Loose fibers can enter the system and even reach the drinking glass. No fiberglass is used in external casing for the Hardless NG filter, which is UV resistant and all materials in contact with water are manufactured using medical grade POM (Polyoxymethylene).
Food Grade Stainless Steel Filter
The Hardless NG has a multi-layer, food industry grade, stainless steel filter with a protective coating. This filter achieves optimum results and removes dirt, sand, water borne parasites, scale and bonded chlorine.
The Scale Solution
To solve the problem of scale, most home purification systems use Siliphos compounds, which have some solubility. That means when water flow stops for any reason there is a drastic reduction in drinking water quality, with higher turbidity and color.
In the Hardless Ng, scale is removed by the cartridge containing “Leshem Stones”, which are in fact, calcium salts with very low solubility and solve that problem.
Hardless Takes out the Chlorine to improve Taste and Smell
Chlorine is added to drinking water to prevent the growth of bacteria and viruses. When chlorine meets organic compounds, the result is organo-chlorides known to be carcinogenic.
About 80% of the chlorine used to disinfect becomes harmful, bonded chlorine products. The remaining 20% remaining in the water ensures that there is no microbial development.
Hardless NG is Not a Water Softener
Water softeners remove important minerals such as calcium and magnesium from the water in the tap.
Every water regulation across the globe demands that those minerals must remain in the water for health purposes.
Water from softeners is unhealthy for a number of reasons:
1. Removing calcium and magnesium lowers the pH of the water, which becomes so acidic, water health regulations around the world stipulate that it should not be consumed as drinking water.
2. Acidic water attacks the pipes and if the pipes are plastic, it attacks the connectors containing heavy metal alloys, which are released into the water, in the same way as zinc and copper are released from iron pipes.
3. Acidic water causes the medical condition known as Hemolysis – It causes red blood cell walls to rupture and release the cell contents into the bloodstream. It can also be the cause of “Baby Blue Syndrome”.

Inside the HardlessNG there are two main components: the stainless steel filter and a cartridge for reducing hardness. The cartridge sits inside the stainless steel filter.
As water enters the unit it sprays through the cartridge. During this spray, the water passes over the crystals that modify the crystalline structure of the minerals that cause the problems of hard water. The water then sprays through the stainless steel multi layer filter. The filter’s advanced patented design, removes the combined chlorine (about 80%) leaving you with the more effective free chlorine. Combined chlorine does not disinfect very well, and can be very dangerous for people with compromised immune systems. By leaving in the free chlorine, it ensures you that your water is always germ free.
